The agency presents news, information and entertainment through media outlets, including radio, TV, Internet, print media and emerging media technologies. DMA services millions of service members, reservists, civilian employees and military retirees and their families in the U.S. and abroad. DMA also includes Stars and Stripes newspaper and the Defense Information School. DMA is a state-of-the art, 185,000-square-foot headquarters building, costing $56 million located at Fort Meade. The project also included a remote antenna facility. The facility also has a goal to obtain LEED Silver certification and houses more than 650 employees.

Dorsey Run Correctional Facility – Phase I

Dorsey Run Correctional Facility – Phase IThis project was a Design-Build services for this new correctional facility for the Maryland Correctional Pre-Release System at Jessup, Anne Arundel County, Maryland. The project includes functions of housing, administration, security, education, food services, visiting and support for approximately 560 inmates. The first phase provided a new East Compound which includes two two-story, 280 bed housing units, one story support services building, a recreation yard, perimeter fence system with sally port and entrance security post, access roads and parking area, totaling approx. 159,000 gross sq. ft. of building area. The building features visitor center, medical and dental facility, pharmacy and administration areas as well as a kitchen and dining areas. The facility also has a goal to obtain LEED Silver certification.

Fort Belvoir New Commissary Facility

Denny’s Fresh Express and Boston Market represent each of those chain’s second locations on military installations. Domino’s, Starbucks, Charley’s and Subway round out the offerings.
